The Fork
You get to the table, sit down, fill up your plate, and grab a fork.
Every one of us does this at least twice a day, seven hundred thirty times a year. We take it into our hand, use it and put it away without thinking. But how hard it was for it to get to that place of honor? You try looking like the Devil's pitchfork and get people to like you.
Sinuous, elegant, feminine and symmetric, yet menacing and seductive. I wanted to look deep into it and find out its many personalities. Yes, I like forks; I'm fascinated by them.
From now on, maybe you too will spend a moment looking at it before starting to eat.
